Is my job offer real or a scam?
Scammers are currently posing as recruitment agencies and offering fake jobs to obtain your
personal and/or financial information.
We know that scammers are illegally using the Red Leaf Recruitment name and logo to gain
data and money. We are aware of this occurring in Nepal and Russia, but there may be
other countries too. Please use the information below to protect yourself and your family
members from a potential scam.
It is a scam if:
- You are asked for money. Red Leaf Recruitment will never ask you to pay any type of fee or provide banking or credit card information.
- Communications do not come from an individual with an @redleafrecruitment.com email address. We will not send messages via WhatsApp, Telegram or other messaging providers.
- Communications are not in English. We do not advertise or send out any communications in language other than English.
- You are asked for personal information, such as identification or certificates, before submitting your application.
- You are asked to click unsolicited links or attachments.
- You receive a job offer immediately or without an interview.
- You are not told the name of the company you will be working for. Red Leaf
- Recruitment does not directly employ workers so you will always be made aware of the firm name that we are recruiting for.
- You are offered a high salary.
- You are offered a work visa. We never offer work sponsorship/visas.
What to do if you suspect a job scam using the Red Leaf Recruitment name or logo
